These three hour workshops are specifically designed for the busy New Yorker who would like to brush up on his / her musicality without committing to anything more than one evening. Each curriculum was designed by Brooklyn Guitar School director Shane Chapman to give you all the details you need and none you don't. Who says you can't learn to play the piano in an afternoon or brush up on your theory in one class? Not us!!
Workshops have a minimum enrollment of three students. If the minimum enrollment is not met, you are entitled to a refund or you can choose another workshop

This distillation of our ten week course, Songwriters Circle gives you all the tools you need to write great chord progressions, melodies and lyrics. You'll also take an analytical looks at some of the greats like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cash.
Pre-Requisite: You have completed Guitar for Advanced Beginners or are otherwise comfortable playing major and minor barre chords.
