Brooklyn Guitar School
...hires only the most amazing teachers! We receive hundreds of applications for any given opening! From this pool of applicants we typically choose maybe twelve to come in for an interview. The interview process is a comprehensive look into the personality and ability of a potential teacher. This involves four different interviewers! After that two or three teachers are chosen to come back for a second interview during which they are asked to teach a sample lesson. Since we already know how to play guitar potential teachers are asked to teach anything but that. It could be a class on oragami, how to change a bike tire, magic, you name it! Finally, after much deliberation we hire a teacher or (as can be the case) we start all over again!
