Q: Can I really learn to play guitar in just ten weeks?
A: Absolutely! No, you won't learn to sound like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton or Segovia in just ten weeks--but if you come to class regularly and practice, at the end the Guitar for Absolute Beginners course you will know the basics of great guitar playing, including basic chords, basic strumming, how to read chord charts and tablature, how to play great songs by artists
such as Guns and Roses, U2, Green Day and more!
Q: How is this class different from the one at NYC Guitar School in Manhattan?
A: This is exactly the same class that our giant sister school, NYC Guitar School, offers for $319. It is the same great material and the same high quality of teachers--but we're offering it here in Brooklyn for only $289!
Q: What if I don't have a guitar?
A: We provide guitars for your use at no charge in the classroom...and we even rent guitars for just $19 per month if you don't want to buy one yet.
Q: What if I'm a complete beginner?
A: No problem! Absolutely NO prior music experience is needed. NO note reading is required. Just bring your desire to play guitar!
Q: Where are classes held?
A: Classes are held at Brooklyn Guitar School, 44 4th Avenue across from the library and just two blocks from Atlantic Center/Target/Guitar Center/etc. It's easy to get to--just take the B, D, M, N, Q, R, 2,
3, 4, 5 or LIRR to Atlantic/Pacific Streets!
